I doubt this story has much basis in fact, but they can't even get the analogy right....

Toyota is amongst the most reliable makes of car on the market, but Cornelius broke down straight away................. mm went out to buy a bentley and came back with a toyota 2854552383

Think it may have been The Metro - at least that's where I first read it anyway. The thing is, people see it, share it on the internet, discuss it, etc, so newspapers will continue to do it.

It's all rubbish. If this stuff was true it would be in the more credible media outlets such as the Guardian and Telegraph not on Talksport, the Mirror and the Metro
