Is all about the performance rather than the result. Whilst it would be great to go on a cup run, survival in the premier league is the priority. However for the players today, some of whom would not have had much of a chance, it's their opportunity to show the manager what they can do.
If they do that you never know we may get the result. Either way I wouldn't want a replay.

I don't care if we lose. I'm just looking at it like it's an exhibition match for the guys on the fringes

whilst in many ways todays result may not matter, in other ways it matters a lot. a win or draw helps to stop the rot and starts to build up momentum and let ole see what he has.

To be honest if you read my post it was again the emphasis was mainly on the fringe players showing Ole what they could do. Some of them obviously performed and got the result as I suggested.
So what do I want now? Sheffield Utd at home would be good

I only had text commentary, but these were my conclusions -

-Kim seemed to work his socks off, he did himself no harm whatsoever
- Odemwingie looks doomed, did nothing all match but sky a shot from the middle of the box. That spot belongs to Noone, and he showed it.
- Cornelius did himself no favours, but I don't think Campbell really upstaged him. Campbell scored from a corner, but seemed quiet in open play. Might hint that our attack isn't quite there yet.

EDIT: Alright I'm up to date with twitter and I revoke the Campbell comment - he did a lot more than my updates told me he did. Attack still isn't there, but Cornelius has let those of us that supported him down.
