Sad because there was so much promise, things had become inevtitable mind, Tan will need to pull a rabbit out of the hat to get any support at the club, watch this space.

Radio Wales say Solskjaer is the favourite and whoever gets the job will have money to spend.

The new manager, whoever it may be, will get the full backing of the supporters. Malky's race was run.............it was just a pity that Tan didn't handle it better.

The only way to hurt Tan is for the supporters to vote with their feet and boycott home games and merchandise. Coventry are trying that this season, but how successfully, remains to be seen............

Seems a shame that Malky's gone but i do think its for the best.
Lets just hope that Tan gets a manage in capable of stopping the slide with funds being made available.

Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

Regardless of your opinion on Malky, the club said on Saturday that he would be the manager 'for the foreseeable future'.

Six days later, they sack him. This from the same people that out out a statement saying we would definetely play the 12-13 season in blue, then went ahead and rebranded anyway. Our club is run by a bunch of liars.

No, I think it a fair comment. Dalman said it wouldn't be on a match by match basis, but given the nature of yesterday's capitulation, it was obviou to everyone that the whole thing had gone t*ts-up and action was need sooner rather than later.

I agree that the situation has been handled appallingly, but the downward spiral was so dramatic that drastic action was needed.

I don't agree with this sacking one bit. This time last year there was uproar from fans - including our own - when Nigel Adkins lost his job.

Many point to that departure as the positives following replacing your manager - there is no denying Pochetinno has done a fantastic job at Southampton... however, there are far more cases when a new manager has come in and failed to turn around fortunes in the long-term.

I will stand by the new manager in the same way as Malky, as long as it's not this Turkish bloke or Sven.

So sad to see Malky’s reign coming to an end this way. I feel that after yesterday’s performance, the outcome was inevitable. Despite all the chants of support for the manager, the way in which the stadium emptied prior to the final whistle, showed just how fed up everyone has become with the type of football that has been played by the team this season. Whoever will take over now is anyone’s guess, but surely it has to be someone with much more experience of the level of football expected from a team playing in The Premier League, and a wider knowledge of transfer dealings.

Since February when we were virtually certain to go up, we have won 6 of our last 30 games. It's a dismal record and I doubt if any other manager would have survived. Steve Clark didn't and he probably had a better record but there was very little fuss made by anybody.
The problem at City is that Malky is a decent, likeable bloke and Tan is nuts. If we had a normal owner the decision would have made sense.

Exactly right!

This has been constantly overlooked, but we have been very poor (and lucky) for a long time. Other results went our way which made us look better and other times Marshall saved us when we deserved to get stuffed. Unfortunately that luck has run out in the past two months and our deficiencies have been laid bare.....

Everybody is won over eventually even though, like you, some people try to fight their feelings of inadequacy when faced with my intellect.
I'm currently making Svengali-like strong progress with Tan and Mourinho but time is short before Bobby Gould is reappointed Cardiff manager.
