Malky's stock is much lower now than when the Everton job came up and, in any event, Daniel Levy has just got rid of one manager who has wasted the better part of £100m, why would he want another one.......?
Also Malky's style of football is not what Spurs will want....the philosophy demanded has always been "we don't care how many you score, we'll back ourselves to score more".

Hoddle has come out and said he wants the Spurs job, but Spurs themselves are giving their old development team a short term trial as manager to see how he does. If it works out Hoddle might get impatient...

Tim Sherwood was the bookies favourite behind Capello at the outset. Always liked him as a player and comes across well in interviews.
