Just went to see this fil just to keep my Mrs happy and absolutely loved it, tom Hanks stars and directs so that on it's own should be enough, but Emma Thomson also plays a superb part, what a great way to spend a few hours, highly recommend.

Cheers Gwyn- so many decent films to watch this Christmas - hunger games, hobbit, anchorman 2. Going have to wait to DVD I guess!

Just The Hobbit lined up as Christmas viewing. TDA jnr & I have one outing a year to the flicks, each December. A couple of the cinemas here will have a VO (version originale) in English, but we'll have to put up with French subtitles....
