A simple question that requires title explanation.
From a pure league table perspextive, it doesn't make a whole lot of difference. Realistically speaking though, we are playing away at a team that we consider weaker than ourselves, meaning we should be looking at winning this.
Making our home ground a fortress and nicking wins away at weak teams should see us safe from relegation. If we struggle away from home then the pressure focused on every home match could be our downfall.

like to think we need at least a point at hull, but has to be earned. don't want to concede anything to anybody really.

The recent media about City has been encouraging.........well organised, bought well in the summer....etc etc..
It's time to for the squad to show the potential it has and we really should beat Hull. I fear that an abject performance, like at West Ham, will set the tone for the season, but grinding out a win today will do wonders..........

I agree with TDA and Vinnie, without getting ahead of myself anything but a win would be disappointing. The same pundits that backed us as favourites for relegation are now backing us for solid midtable, and our last two performances have proved we're no pushovers.
A draw wouldn't be the end of the world, but when we can square up to Man City and Everton and more than hold our own, we should be looking to punish Hull.

And I agree with all of you.....except Arkay.
I'm realistic in a sense that I know we will lose games that on paper we should win. Though saying that, hopefully we'll pick up at least a point today. I'll be annoyed if we set out defensively and come away with nothing.

I agree, three points will be nice. We need to win away at least a handful of times this season and this seems a good place to do it.
The good news is that both teams will be going for the win so the game should be quite open.
