I have installed phpBB3 here on my home computer, and it accepts 1 charater topic titles as default.

Anyway, where do you change the Topic string length? I'm having a hack around phpBB3 over here :laughingabit:

I haven't done any programming since I tipped my panda pops on my ZX Spectrum but I'm happy to have a go... Do you have a manual?

Yes - it was through the admin panel - simple text field for the number of characters required!
