Out for 6 weeks after spontaneously suffering from a collapsed lung and being rushed to hospital. If there was anything to this rumour then I don't think it will happen now.

Terrible news for the guy. He seemed to have started the season on fire too and i am not really sure how realistic our chances of getting him would have been anyway. Also read some recentish reports that he is happy to stay at Ajax.

As you say i think this news will put that rumour to bed now.

Hope he recovers soon and it is not something that will affect his career.

was not aware that a collapsed lung was spontaneous thing. always thought they were as the result of an accident/fall

Couldn't pinpoint a cause. Apparently he was coughing and wheezing for a while, went to the doctor and that was the result.
