Are we talking about the same Nelson Oliviera? The one who's only scored eight times in 75 senior appearances, many in weak leagues? He scored only 4 in 30 appearances for Deportivo in their relegation bound season.
He's no Messi, is he? Sure he's only 21, but even if he doubled his goal ratio it's still nowhere near good enough.

Sorry Tache, not convinced.
You lost a bit of cred with your "Ince must be coming, otherwise we would have heard by now......"

I would say that basing his ability purely on those stats could be misleading. He only actually started 3 games for Deportivo, the rest were substitute appearances. He has been capped ten times by Portugal, who have some good strikers, and if you watch clips of him he is a very technically gifted, flair player. I think the idea is that he would be a good foil for Cornelius and I would back taking him on loan for a year

He has so many bench appearances because he was unable to outperform 32 year old Riki, who didnt exactly set the world alight at 13 goals in 36 either. If a Benfica 'prodigy' can't outperform a 32 year old striker who has ony averaged 1 goal in 4 games in his Deportivo career, then he's no prodigy.
Likewise, he seems a bit of a d**k. He scored the second goal in Deportivos game against Espanyol, guaranteeing the team were out of the relegation zone (temporarily). Because the fans had been on his back for his poor performances, how did he react? By sshing his own fans and angrily shoveing away any team mates that tried to congratulate him.
