So ince due to family commitments turned us down (which we guessed anyway) never mind it may be a blessing in disguise. Money better spent elsewhere, on players, heisuke Honda etc

But I'm starting to get a little worried that no one seems to be very taken with joining us...

There were 7 or 8 Ince related threads this afternoon on another board, which all said pretty much the same thing. I never understand that, as surely, you only need one per topic?
Anyway, the Ince baby has surely been expected for the normal term of 9 months, so although I uderstand his reluctance to uproot the family at this point, I fail to see how City could have possibly hoped to pull this transfer off.......is Malky really that short-sighted?

It's early days yet peeps and I think we've been rejected more than accepted because Malky is being ambitious with his targets and, personally, I think that policy is great at this stage. If he lands one of them then we'll all be impressed and grateful. Patience is key right now.

Fair play to him, it's admirable to see a footballer so devoted to his family for a change. Seems like one of footballs nice guys.
He would of been a great addition, but there's no doubt at 8.5 million he was expensive. There's alternatives, for sure.

He'll be five months old, personal experience can help me firmly say that a five month old is about 9 trillion times harder to look after than a newborn. Once you get over the sleep deprivation, a newborn is easy.
So if he's a man of his word, we shouldn't see a transfer until next season at least. Theoretically

Arkay got it right methinks. Nowt to get too excited about here. Aim high, show ambition, have a back up contingency plan which I'm sure Malky has. Just work your magic Malky. I'm confident he knows what he is doing.

tend to agree with arkay, but to put no finer point on it, my shingles are doing my nerve ends no good at all. to be honest i was always a bit doubtful that he would come, primarily because of his dad a stroppy ex- england international who i think would sooner see the little runt languish in the championship than play for a welsh side
