Oh dear. How very sad.
Still, they've got some tissues between them when the tears start.

this situation was always going to arise, as in the previous few cases the manager has ambition greater than the club. kudos to them for being frugal and trying to do it the right way but at something's gotta give eventually.

Laudrup is in the driving seat, as it is clear that other clubs are interested in him. Can't see Swansea going over board with expenditure though. It's just not their way.
This will be interesting........

.....and probably won't get any higher unless he can invest in strengthening the team further......Gus Poyet to replace him seems a natural fit........

That could be bad news for South Wales. I'm not one of those who ever wishes harm on our nearest rivals as Ive always believed that competition between the clubs is good for both parties. I'd love to see strong teams at Cardiff and Swansea and both fighting for top honours. For me beating Swansea always gives a good feeling, but more importantly, especially this season, will be beating enough of the other Premier teams to ensure we continue in that league. We should be using the Swansea example to spur us on the greater things.

Still rumbling on with Laudrup questioning why more signings haven't been made yet and Fenerbahce claiming he is a shortlist of three for them......the attraction?.......Champions League football, plus reputed £3m contractual golden hello........
