I think I'd be more tempted to walk out on the City if Mark Hughes became manager than I was with the whole rebrand.

I can't figure out the thinking of people who want him here. Maybe the heady heights of the Premiership has gone to their heads. He can't hold down a job anywhere.

His tactics against Russia as Wales manager proves he doesn't understand a certain basic of the game which is to win. His inability to hold down a job for any meaningful length of time proves he doesn't understand what's expected of him. He might have been a good player and as such he is unlikely to make a good manager.

Wasn't brilliant with Wales, though saying that he got us closer to a major tournament than any other manager in recent times. Done well at Fulham (in hindsight he should never have left for a bigger job, which never came), done very well at Blackburn, done 'okay' with Man City. He was obviously poor at QPR, but he will want to prove himself after that spell.
