The leaking of Kevin McNaughton's 'new contract' fascinates me. Since MM has arrived at Cardiff City we have only learnt about new players when all the appropriate formalities have been completed. So how has did this news break last night when nothing has been offically confirmed by the club? Has Carl Curtis' mole suddenly re-emerged from some dark place where moles are known to frequent? After all CC has been pretty quiet in recent times and most of his famous 'updates' have contained old news or facts which are in the public domain. So where has this information come from?
Has McNaughton's agent released this information in an attempt to get the club to negotiate a new contract for his client?
Has the club deliberately leaked this information having offered McNaughton reduced terms which they expect him to turn down? They will obviously be well aware of the high regard with which KM is held by the supporters and perhaps this is the way of putting the onus on McNaughton and his agent if he eventually decides to leave.
To me, something is not right! We shall see.

Interesting theory......more often than not agents are to blame, but I do wonder if the boot isn't on the other foot here, as you say.......

I'm happy for him to take a player/coach role but I can't see how he could offer us anything at the next level. His final ball is just too bad and he had a few mares earlier on in the season.
