Some recent posts would suggest not, unless Vera Lynn and George Formby are playing this year?
That reminds me, I must start a thread on Will Hay films.

I should have included casual racism in the list of 'good old days' rememberances of Penarth....

I am sad because there is no possibility of me going. I used to love Glastonbury.
Will you be taking your guitar? The guy with the guitar, leading the late night stoned-along, always had his pick of the ladies.
Some sort of live updates would be nice for those of us needing to do Glastonbury '13 vicariously.

Oh dear.
In another thread crossover, my Nan recalled a bloke from a nearby village known as Brown the Black.
I don't think this related to his occupation.

Doubt I'll have room for the guitar tbh mate, we could only get tickets on coach from Taunton, so hand luggage will be a minimum. Yeh, Taunton from 6.15 on the Wednesday morning, extends the adventure!
I'll try and update, definitely won't have a smart phone with me though, battery doesnt last a whole day at the football, let alone a festival!

I used to go to the Stonehenge festival when it was allowed/tolerated. Glastonbury was was a huge disappointment as a replacement when the Stonehenge midsummer's day festival was no longer allowed. It was in an ideal part of the world with decent road access. If only that stupid farmer who used to come on the local news every year to say he'd never be able to grow anything in that field again had an ounce of common sense he could have been raking in millions.

I used to take my recorder down to the Ebbw Vale garden festival every weekend... never got sh*gged once....
not counting the tuning I had in the Cider Garden from the boys from the Tump that one time when I played 'It's raining men'

I haven't heard the expression 'the Tump' in a while.
I think it was Male Stripper by Man 2 Man that tipped them over the edge.
