41 clubs responded to the survey, and 29 described the financial health of football league clubs in general as "worrying".
However, when asked about their own club, only 4 said worrying, 37 said it was adequate or better. Only 8 clubs said their financial position had got worse over the last 5 years. So are they telling porkies about their own clubs, or forming their impression of the league in general from newspaper headlines?
Interestingly, nearly twice as many clubs thought the Premier League was beneficial to the Football League than those who thought it was detrimental. Maybe that depends on how close you are in getting to the Premier League.

Or whether you have been there before and therefore have been exposed to the revenue streams the Premier League generates.
