I am not even sure a points deduction would be good for us as crazy as that sounds. Any deduction would surely result in an immediate appeal and then weeks or months of uncertainty as everyone waited to see if the ruling would be overturned.

Between that and their match Friday could be an interesting day.

I agree. Although the charges are not the same i think the Football League layed down its markers with the QPR issue a few seasons back.

You mean the football league are cowards, basically. Watford cheat the league with an unfair loan system, yet the only punishment they are likely to receive is a fine which compared with the millions promotion would earn is irrelevant.

The charges are nothing to do with the loans which, however unfair, are strictly legal for the timebeing. Nevertheless i am sure they will avoid any points deduction if found guilty of what they HAVE been charged with. Too much hassle if the legal teams start threatening to sue for losing out on promotion.
