talking about whisky, went to loch lomond with the mrs and there was a distillery on the banks and it had a hum all of its own. there were malts there i had never heard of let alone tasted.

Loch Lomond is beautiful. I visited there last October and was really pleasantly surprised at how lovely it was.

Didn't try the whiskey though - not my thing, nor are the prices

I'm still kicking my heels about the place unfortunately for you all. Although I had nothing to do with the CCMB porn-death scandal. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time so far though.

There's actually three boards when you include redbluebirds.com which as someone who accepts the rebrand should be my natural home, however like a moth to a flame I find myself drawn back to ccmb.

IMHO this board attracts the sharper pencils in the box when compared to AAMB, and as a bi-product those who can articulate a considered anti rebrand viewpoint (even if I disagree with it) post here.

People like to debate and argue and sometimes it can be a little dull when everyone agrees with everyone else hence my I end up coming here rather than redbluebirds.

Rightly or wrongly, I have always associated AAMB with the element of the club that I have always considered to be the dark underbelly and whilst I have occasionally looked at an AAMB thread, normally linked from here, I have never wanted to post there.

I totally disagree with that I guess there is a lot more debate and disagreement on CCMB as there's a lot more of them.... I'm sure that MM didn't start his forum with a terms of reference! Much of the differences in opinion on CCMB translates into creative, stimulating and funny threads... its the toxic personal stuff that brings a bit of a downer to the party... Also although I think the one barb was aimed at AAMB I pride myself on being a blunt crayon intellectually

TDA was that happy days who posted that? This board is THE ONLY board which makes u welcome with no inner circle, no heated.agro with the rebrand, and no divide, CCMB are full of clowns, AAMB well don't get me started,
