Here we go then.........Brizzle out of the way, so on to the next one.........
I reckon the same starting team, unless Turner is fit, in which case Nugent to the bench.
Brighton are a difficult team to beat, only 4 losses away all season, but 13 draws from 31 games played. That looks very much like us last season, but I take City to battle this one out and win 2 - 0.

tda tried to send a pm but failed. wi send a scarf2 u
We've always struggled to break Brighton down, especially with the latest Poyet incarnation. Brighton also have the bit between their teeth now that Boro are in the middle of their annual post-Christmas blow-up.
Sorry lads, but I think this might be a slip up and Brighton to take all three points. 2-1 to the Seagulls.

The 3-1 home defeat to them last season seems a very long time ago.
They are a good team on their day, but not as good as the current City side so I'm hoping for a win, probably by a solitary goal.
Turner to replace Nugent if fit, and maybe Kim instead of Noone.

I wondered about Kim for Noone, but given his recent period of rest and good form yesterday, I think our Craig might just fancy a run-out against his former team......

I think Nugent will keep his place. Apart from an excellent defensive display, his distribution is far superior to Turner's and contributed to us maintaining possession yesterday.
Kim for Noone would be a prefered option, in my opinion, but since Brighton are his old club I've a feeling he'll get the nod.

Every game is a banana skin and Brighton have plenty still to play for - this could be a hard fought draw 1-1 imo. 23,954
