Glandular Fever

Anyone else had it?
Was 'struck down' by it around Christmas time, was told it could either last a week or a few months, thankfully I was over the worst of it in time for Christmas.
Then the symptoms kicked in again last night, the most noticeable one is fatigue - I have so much work to get through, yet I can't bring myself to do anything. Physically drained!

My brother had it a few years ago, although he's such a lazy kent I don't think anyone noticed the 'fatigue' symptoms.

That's rough Gloves. I had the same when I was a teenager and it stuck around for about six months. The main reason I kept getting ill was because I was about a stone underweight, once I started packing on a few extra pounds the symptoms started to ease off and I eventually got better. Not sure if the Doctors will recommend that, but it certainly worked for me.
Also, it helped that I stopped snogging random homeless tramps just to cheer them up

I had it when I was about 18.
Got signed off on the sick for 2 weeks - was really bad, although as I recall I just about made it to the pub every day bar one.
