In what I can only hope is a case of horrific paraphrasing, Steven Gerrard has said in an interview he would happily celebrate if he scored a handballled goal against United, or apparently anyone.

What a scummy act from one of Liverpool and England's all time best players. The 'everyone else does it' excuse kind of makes sense in a worrying sort of way, but to openly tell the press you are perfectly happy to cheat if it wins you the game? Disgusting.

He has got a point with the whole Carrol thing...you will also struggle to find a striker who would admit to scoring a goal off his arm, either accidently or not.

Wasn't there a story where a player in Germany scored a goal with his arm n he told the ref he handballed it :Sherlock:
