Blackpool manager Michael Appleton didn't show up at squad training today, effectively making it sound like he's throwing a strop about the club refusing Blackburn's offer to buy him off them. Not only is Ince still looking to be leaving and is off his game because of it, but they look very likely to also be without a manager when we play them next week!

Cracking news. If I were Appleton, I wouldn't have been throwing a strop, he's lucky that Blackpoo have given a chance in the first place. He could still very well be down at Pompie wondering if the club will still be in existence week to week.
Besides, Blackburn is not the best perspective job to covet either

Another plus this week is that DJ Campbell has left Ipswich to go back to QPR. They've signed Frank Nouble from West Ham in his place.

I thought this piece of head hunting was ludicrous when I first heard it, now given Appleton's actions it's even more crazy.
Let them fight over him as much as possible and with any luck, maybe a few more teams might get involved too?

Deal done, expected to be announced as their new manager within 24 hours. Therefore they could well be without a manager next week.

Presumably he has been offered a big massive bonus for promotion, why else would he leave a relatively safe job at Blackpool, with less expectation and who have been fairly loyal to their managers recently to take up a job with the Venkys in charge.

Well Kate, when we were on 2998 on this section I noticed there were 2 in the Blog section, so whatever the 2998th was on this section was actually the 3000th. Basically everyone was excited for the 3000th and I ruined it. For everyone. Because I'm a ruddy big ruiner.
