I'd just like to thank everyone for my award for Most Popular Person on the Planet Ever - it's clear all that bribery I invested in has paid off.

I want to thank my parents for getting drunk all those years ago and failing to use protection, without their irresponsible behaviour I wouldn't be here now.

I'd also like to say a little something to God - "Ha! In your face! And you said I'd never amount to anything!"

And I'd like to finish by doing this...

Well, what can I say I'm honoured and humbled that the award for Best Avatar has now been awarded to Super Squirrel. I'd like to thank my peers that nominated Mr Super Squirrel that was only adopted by Dr Socks after the Avatar was looking for a good home.

Well Done to all the other Awards tonight, but ultimately everyone is a winner on here.

Oh wow, what do I say. When I got released from my youth contract at AAMB, I thought it was the end for me. I'd be the first one to admit my performances there were lacklustre, and I allowed myself to fall behind the other guys there. They're a great bunch, well not really they are all massive knobs, but that's beyond the point. Rhys took me here on a free, one which I took my time agreeing to simply because I didn't know what I wanted to do anymore. My dreams had been crushed, I was thinking of packin in the forum business altogether. But my agent had a few words with Rhys and agreed me a MASSIVE bonus and suddenly I felt much better and signed up.

My performances still weren't great, I didn't have the confidence to grow so I stuck with safe 'where do you think Cardiff will finish this year' stuff. But with the help of such a great team around me my confidence grew just a little bit every single topic, and well, here I am now, most improved poster and second place in the grand master category (Arkay and Caldi can't prove anything). I won't speculate on my future, now isn't the time. But all I will say is when I'm lounging on my sun lounger, soaked from head to toe thanks to the welsh weather and proving my worth on a Barcelona FC fan forum, ill think back to you guys and how you made it all happen.

Thanks so much for all those who voted for me in both categories i was nominated in. To win the Best Newcomer award is a great honour and i commiserate with the other fine nominess who missed out this time.

Although being registered early on the site it took me some time to begin to post regularly and it is thanks to those regular posters who put in much of the good work early on to get this forum moving that when i did begin to post more regularly it was in an atmosphere of fun, friendliness and sometimes sheer madness.

Though not a prolific poster i am glad that my efforts have a struck the right cord with enough people. Thanks once more and congratulations to all the other winners tonight. For those who missed out keep posting as all your contributions make this the wonderful place i call my online home.

Well done to everyone who won, everyone who didn't and everyone who, no actually, that's everyone isn't it. Yeh, love this place, I still regularly log onto CCMB when this place is quiet or I fancy an argument, but this is always my first look. Everyone always makes me laugh and there aren't any tossers on here. Great people, great taste in music and comedy and, erm, football club.

Cheers to Rhys and VTT for sorting the awards thing out, top effort. Love you all.

I... I... I... Don't know what to say... I'm touched... And not just in a Jimmy Savile way... My wife thinks I've wasted so much of my life on this board... And I'll never get this time back... In a very real way you've all proved her right.... I only post because it's enjoyable... This board is a fun place to spend time because everyone is so cool / informative / funny (I likes funny me)... So thanks to everyone who pledged money to Children in Need to vote for me... And for those who didn't... Well.. You guys.... F*ck you and the horses you f*cking rode in on...
