ive taken the questions from a certain board (bet u can guess which one)
1.SO MANY OF U WOULD SACK/REPLACE MALKY AT THIS VERY MOMENT?
I am just asking the question as every time we get a defeat there are many calls to get rid of Malky.
2.Who would u replace Malky with?
3.Did Tan not make him the manager?
4.Are the players not Malky's?
5.Would a new manager what new players?
6.Are we still right up there in the promotion hunt?
7.Did many of u say u would give Malky 2 seasons?
8.Why would u replace him and whats the answer?
9.Who still has faith in Malky?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
For myself i will answer them - should make good discussion Or just general slagging off the other board..
1.I would not sack malky at this very moment!
2.I wouldnt replace malky with anyone cos i wouldnt sack him
questions 3-6 are all the same answer of yes
7.its not even anywhere near end of the season yet so of course we are still within a shout of promotion, even the likes of bolton are and they r near the bottom,
8. i would only replace malky if we ended up getting relegated.. last season malky still had jones's cast offs, this season malky has had funds & his own players.. so maybe just need time to gel.. i would even go as far as to say if we dont go up this season.. it has to be next year or goodbye malky... but i have a gut feeling Tan may get rid of malky if we dont go up.
9.i have every faith in the malky... yes he makes some silly tactical decisions but hey thats life!
Thoughts?

I agree with all your answers, Vinnie. Yes, things are going wrong away from home, and it needs addressing. But I don't think anyone was seriously expecting things to be all sweetness and light throughout the season, so I don't see the need to start panicking now. We're still up there, with plenty of time to get some of these issues put right. And even if we don't, I'd still give Malky at least another season (although as you say, VT may not be as patient).

Too many individual errors to blame the manager, but Hull/Boro are must-win games IMO.
The defence was very poor last night – I think it was free headers in the middle that led to 3 of the goals?
Dropping McNaughton suggests he has been made a scapegoat, but there aren’t many back-up options across the back 4 as a whole which must lead to some complacency.
I think Marshall is always liable to make the occasional aberration but he has made some great saves throughout the season, and his position is one that highlights mistakes more than any other. Bear in mind the back-up keeper, Joe Lewis, is also prone to the occasional flap as well.
Maynard/Mutch/Bellamy/Smith being injured doesn’t help either.

we havent a problem with scoring at all, but we need to sort out the defence, BUT who is/was to blame? Marshall was deffo to blame for 2 of the goals.. but as u say free headers in the middle led to the other 3 goals
