...I write football off for the rest of the day. I don't watch any British live game that may be on at 5.20 or any of the Spanish games on later, I don't bother watching MOTD or the FLS and I don't bother even looking at any forums, let alone think about posting on them.
It's not that it puts me in a particularly bad mood or anything (unless we really do throw it away), but I just can't be bothered with it.
Anyone else get like this?

Yes, I know what you mean - the best thing is just to forget about football that day as though it never happened. I rarely watch the FLS if we lose - just not worth staying up for.
Unless, of course, I particularly outraged by some decision - either by malky or by the ref etc..
for example - I was miffed on Saturday before the game even started because of the formation and Cowie starting - this forum is a good outlet for a good moan.

I do the opposite, I turn to other teams I'm find of to hope they can turn my footballing day around somewhat. However on a day where Arsenal, Spurs and Everton all have bad results, and Swansea win, it's hard to turn the day around.
On a slightly similar note, anyone noticed the weather tends to be crappy on a Monday whenever we lose that weekend. I'm in a new workplace this year and currently every single game we've lost, my route to work has been flooded the following Monday.

Proof, if ever it were needed, that Cardiff City's fortunes this season are intrinsically linked with the coming of the apocalypse. No wonder we all feel so rubbish when they lose.

The level of sulkiness depends on the manner of defeat.
Handing the initiative to the oppostion from the first whistle by choosing the wrong team/formation means the sulk-factor is ELEVATED.

Yeah, puts me on a major downer. This weekend was strange, despite losing 3-1, I looked at the table and didn't feel quite as bad. That's the great thing about The Championship.

It's an expectation thing for me. All week I thought we'd lose to Forest so I was ready for it. After Palace, especially after being two up, I ignored all forms of football for the day.

Yes. Always skip MOTD and the FLS as well as live games later in the day. Usually with me it takes at least until mid week to watch a game again. After a City loss I just cba with football.

Same here, I don't sulk, I just avoid football. This weekends result was made more bearable by the thought of two very winnable home games in a week and the possible return of Bellars and Mutch.
