3 days until proper football starts again!

Come on!

We should probably get a prediction thread going...shortly

City? Who the hell are City? I don't remember such things as it has been such a long barren spell...

Forest's form going into this game hasn't been great.

2 draws, 2 losses and 1 win

vs

4 wins, 1 loss from the mighty bluebirds

Has to be 3 points in the bag for me.

I'm gonna say 2-1 to the City with Helguson to bag the first. Might have a quid on that n all.

So I'd like us to win 3-0 please.

2-1 to the City. We tend to grind out away results and Whitts goes AWOL when we aren't at home (see Ipswich game...) so I reckon Helguson may score and Conway will feature again

Looks like we're taking away nearly 2000 fans... Should be a cracker... I'm still sticking with City by 2... I'm with G-Ster 4-4-2 essential though

I can see what your saying Rhys but I like to look at it as in home and away form myself.

Forest home form = Wins 2 Draw 2 Lost 1 VRS Cardiff away form = Win 2 Draw 1 Lost 2

Based on that the outcome probabilities are - Forest win = 40% Cardiff win = 30% Draw = 30% . Imo if we start against Forest in the same way we did at ipswitch then we will get turned over & this time there will be no second half come back Forest vs Cardiff - Predictions everyone? 635981802

I hate to be a nerd welshfella but that's flawed maths. Those percentages would only work if they were only based on the two teams results against each other. If I used identical statistical techniques, we'd also be favourites to beat Liverpool at Anfield.

Saying that though a win is what I'm expecting, Nottingham are poor this year. 2-0.

I base it on the same teams playing in the same league against similar strengh opponents week in week out & see what there home and away form is like and base it on that. But I can see what you mean it wouldnt work in a cup game if we drew Man u for eg.

But looking at todays result RED its not that flawed is it lol!
