Apart from the fact he is at best a very average manager, why do people dislike him so much? He gets an enormous amount of personal abuse, but why? Have I missed something he said? Is it just because he's a jack? Is it because of that bizarre way he talks during interviews?

His brusque manner = X
His destruction of Wales = X
His inherent jackness = X
His constant errors when playing for Wales = X
Dropping down two leagues for the money = X

What's not to hate?
