I hate being overly confident but if Cardiff continue play the style of football that has been evident lately then there's no reason why it shouldn't be 2-0 to City

We are heading into some really tough games in the next month that will really test our promotion calibre. So i have my fingers crossed for a performance that sends a message about our intentions. Dominating for a full 90 minutes, ruthless and precise in attack and a stonewall defence. If we consider ourselves league winning material then Palace should be a team we can throw into the trash pile with ease, hopefully we display that.

Palace are due a result against us; accept a draw. Very interested in how we line up today.

Harsh, but I see where you are coming from. A 92nd minute deflection off Hudson's @rse for a 1-0 win will do me at this stage of the season.

There's still a lot of uncertainty in their camp though especially concerning Zaha looking for a move to those interested premier league teams. He will probably feature but might have his eye off the ball somewhat. Things like that tend to unsettle an entire team too, so it might be a great time to pick on them.

Didn't mean it to sound as harsh as it actually did. My point basically was the likes of Man City should be able to walk over Wigan/QPR/Aston Villa everytime considering they are favourites to win the premiership. If they lose to a team threatened with relegation eyebrows are suddenly raised. Same logic should apply here really.

Yes, exactly. Inconsistency dogged us under the Jones era. We would play amazing football one week and then be atrocious the following game.
At least under Malky, we have had a bit more stability in form (albeit a consistent form of kicking ass early on, followed by a session of consistent drawing, followed by a lot of losing and drawing and then some winning again.)
So I'm confident that we can keep this up for some time yet (providing we don't have too many injuries or a cup run)
2-0 City today

2-0 City today
Now this is where I seem to disagree with most; I think cup runs are good! As evidence I hold up Burnley who eventually beat Sheffield United in the Play Off Final, having reached the latter stages of both the League and FA Cups. I think the experience in the cups helped in the playoff final.
It's not just that; I do not think there is much evidence that down grading cup competitions in favour of the league is a successful strategy. Fans deserve more.

Well we still have the fa cup to give it a go yet.
Years gone by it's been important for the extra money it's generated for us. However, this year it wouldn't generate enough to do us many favours if we do not get promoted.
