The last straw.....

On what has been a great as well as emotive day with the tributes before todays ko, you'd expect nothing but solidarity between fans tonight wouldn't you?? Not so on the other board where the main thread is Re TLG and whether he stayed to watch the game after the Simon Insole tribute. It's degenerated into the usual exchanges of abuse/insults.

Really had a tit full now, so thought I'd try a first post here where I hear it's a bit more chilled out and you actually talk football!!

Welcome Iwanbach. It is often very quiet here but i am sure the messageboard will continue to grow as the season progresses. I think most people here have had enough of the arguments and bickering whether it is about shirt colour or just trolls searching for a reaction.

We do talk about football though we don't mind a Friday/Monday/Whenever it takes someones fancy Music Thread either

Hey Iwanbach11! Welcome to the board

As toastboy said, it is a lot quieter than the other boards and you can sometimes being waiting a while for a response - but size is not what matters (apparently!) it is what we do with ourselves that does...( this is not going the way I anticipated)

Anyway, back to football. Cracking game today - if wasn't for that pesky Kenny we would have battered them! Just so glad the International break is out of the way.

Shame really, it was starting to get back to normal on the other board. I tend to alternate between the two

yeah i left AAMB cos of sniping and if u r not in the "inner circle" u cant have an opinion, i also left CCMB a long time ago cos of certain snipers... but im glad i found this board.. ppl are friendly enough... we talk football & we have a laugh

Welcome aboard Iwan. I still use the other one ocassionally, but I prefer this one as the grammar is betterer.
