KCB were hoping that the sale of the new red shirt would be a flop..... If tonight is anything to go by, the Red has been embraced far more than people imagined. Not saying I wholly support anything but blue, but thoughts of demonstrations will be a distant memory especially if the team hit form from the off.

Stacks of red shirts bought, many for kids, but lots of adults buying right up to when I left around ten.

Hopefully this wil be a non issue... Proper fans who have a life and don't post or kick up a fuss seem to be enjoy the moment along with the several thousand like minded fans who were there tonight... I'm not pro red but it felt spot on this evening

I was at tonight's event and constantly comparing it to the last game at Ninian Park 'celebration event' and realised how far we'd come so quickly.

Only blight on the night was Craig 'Cotton Eye Joe' Bellamy's shirt... Which he has worn all day... I know we've cut his wages but FFS he doesn't have to shop at Ponty market to prove he's Welsh

I agree there were plenty of red shirts in evidence BUT how many would have been sold if BOTH the Red & Blue shirt were on sale at the same time Not being bitchy like..... 4228682415

One thing i would say is having seen the red shirt in the flesh i don't like it and have always hated the badge since i first set eyes on it. However having seen the Blue shirt on a model in the Club shop it looks a lot better than i imagined and the new badge on the Blue shirt actually looks OK Not being bitchy like..... 3392635135

Very valid point.

I am concerned that I have to say the red kit looks very nice. As an away kit, a cracking effort, but with so many people buying, it suddenly feels like we've always been red....
