Below is just a selection of comments from liverpool fans from the Sky Sports website they are gutted to lose him but wish him well respect to them for that
Selling Bellamy would be a huge mistake, from watching him in the olympics he would thrive in Brendan Rodgers philosophy , just like in the olympics. Would be our best attacking winger
What is going on at Liverpool - probably the best signing of last season. I like the way Brendan Rogers plays, but seriously - if you let Agger, Bellamy go before signing some world class players we will be a joke next season.
Been great for Liverpool. Gives his all every game. Everyone seems to think his body wont let him play as much now but to me he looks as fit as ever. If it is personal reasons then I think the club will reluctantly let him go wishing him the very best of luck for the future. Losing the effort, workrate and desire of Kuyt and Bellamy in this window will leave a hole in the squad.
cannot understand why LFC would let him go, he cost nothing, and although he cant play two games in four days anymore, when he has played he has been the best attacking player LFC had last season. Keep him because he is still in great shape and can make a difference in big games.
Ridiculous decision, was our best player lasst season and one of the few players that's actually got some pace, along with Aquilani and Kuyt, another very puzzling transfer debacle involving LFC.
i am a big liverpool fan and would be sad to see bellamy leave. a player that gives haert and soul every time he puts on the famous red shirt.we seem to have a trend at liverpool to let good strickers leave and be solas oon as there is interest from other clubs.think it needs to stop, the samething is happening with big andy. think they both are fab players and players that we need to keep hold of. big up the mighty reds.
