AAMB ?

I dont know how many people used to go on it but is it just me or is that forum starting to become abit of a cult.

You have annis and that carl guy acting like the are the voice of the fans and the fans leader and in most cases the members seem to agree with them that they are because they go to all the meetings and voice there opinions,but thats the point voice there opinion not the other fans opinions as ive never seen a poll asking fans what they want asked or done.

A work mate of mine has just told me that its going to be kept as a anti red website by annis and if members on there dont like it they can p*ss off. Does that sound like people you want representing your views to the club.

I guess all im saying is that ive supported city since I can remember and have been a season ticket hold since I was 10 and ive never had a invite to these meetings but they do because they own the forum and the club believes they speak for the fans but they dont because they dont even asked them do they is agree with me or p*ss off.

I first looked at that site at the end of the Dave Jones era it just seemed like a bunch of sycophants trying to outdo each other in terms of cringe-worthy grovelling. The CCMB at that time was far better in terms of balance and credibility.

The main ( ITK ) AAMB characters continue to be legends in their own minds and, perhaps to a lesser extent these days, to their devotees /disciples, but there is no doubt it does appear to be a handy medium for selling niche-market literature............not that I am a cynic

If you go on there and say something that doesn't conform with the norm you will get abuse, you will get accused of being someone, you will get people searching you up, you will get death threats if you keep on. Some of them are the old school guys from back in the day as well and I do understand their passion for Cardiff but they must realise that at the end of the day we are all human.

I started 3 threads on there with the sole intention of airing my views. I knew Bellamy was coming because I know people in his family, thats a fact. I knew we were looking at Kelly on loan because of work links. I did mess about a bit and say I was a scout but when you're getting abuse and stuff, well its annoying. When I have to go into every thread and see abuse and people saying things about my father, other people wouldn't like it.

If defending myself on a forum or retaliating when getting tirades of abuse, making accusations against me, death threats and abuse towards my family members makes me a bad person, then so be it, I'm a bad person.

I guess I should learn never to argue with people who are always right, because in the end, in their view, they will always be right, no matter how wrong they actually are.

Well, I do hope this is the case but it would be nice if the club contacted all season tickets holders, ambassadors, member etc directly with any literature or opinion forming. Presumably, if you've signed up in this way then you are interested in the future and the best decisions of the club.

Saying that, I also think that the owners ultimately have the final say as they have the wonga and anybody who has ever worked as a manager (in any arae) will know that the best decisions are often not the most popular decisions.

The club would do themselves a favour if they scrapped the 'fans representative' culture and perhaps invited fans into one off focus groups. ( ambassadors & ST being the best).

Although, if the clubs wants the opinion from this forum, Arkay could always do one of his polls.

The reason for me believing this is that you're level headed, you're honest how you feel, you have the clubs best interest at heart rather than your own personal gain and you're not someone who is willing to take 'this is my club and this is how it should be' attitude.

If anything, we need more fans leaders like you and Colonel who are nice and level headed guys who see football for the sport and entertainment it is rather than the current crop who think the clubs owes them something.
